How to Unveil Your New Spring Look

The day you have anticipated for weeks has arrived!  The first day of Spring!

You don’t want to brag, but your beautiful spring room should be enjoyed by good company.  You followed all our recommended steps in our blog series, Get Your Home Interiors Ready for Spring from creating a color palette to integrating just the right blinds, shades and slipcovers into your project.  Your new interiors are worthy of recognition, right?

Here are a few ideas for unveiling your Spring Interiors with style and grace:

Plan around a regularly scheduled event.

There are plenty of Spring holidays on the horizon.  There are the religious holidays in April, followed by Mother’s Day in May, and Father’s Day at the tail end of the spring season in June.  Think about which holiday will bring the most visitors and plan a gathering to show off your new room.

Tie your new interiors into your party theme.

Would you like to show off your living room that highlights fabrics from mills in Italy?  Or, would you like to highlight that outdoor furniture you had updated with new indoor/outdoor fabrics from Sunbrella or Duralee?  Incorporate the story behind your fabrics into a cool party favor or engage your guests during your event with the story behind your custom design choices. You could even pair your demonstration with a menu that is emblematic of the country your fabrics are from.  Your guests will enjoy the opportunity to learn from your event and be entertained at the same time.

 Don’t forget about the little details…
