Founded in 1971, Rockville Interiors was originally based in College Park where the staff of 2 specialized in crafting plastic slipcovers. Clients appreciated our affordable prices, quality workmanship and outstanding service.

With so many satisfied customers, we expanded by establishing showrooms and workrooms in Rockville and Silver Spring. To help make your spaces even more beautiful, we started designing custom window treatments, upholstery, bed ensembles and more. We continue to keep our prices affordable by crafting everything in our on-site workrooms using the highest-quality materials.

Our upholstery workroom located in Rockville specializes in custom-made Reupholstery and Slipcovers. The upholstery shop is staffed by the area’s finest upholsterers and seamstress who use the highest-quality materials (reupholstering grade foam, Dacron, etc.) and upholstering techniques to craft works of art. Our interior designers will assess your piece and help you determine whether to reupholster or slipcover. Next they’ll help you select the perfect new material (leather, suede, microfiber, fur, lace, naugahyde, fabric, prints, solids, cottons, canvases, denims, embroideries, crewls, matelasses, silks, sheers, tapestries, velvets, mohairs and even outdoor fabrics). Next, they’ll help you determine if the foam needs to be replaced, if the frame needs to be adjusted and if any exposed wood needs to be touched up or refinished. We can even add new design features (skirts, nail heads, arm covers, head covers, buttons, bows, trims, cording, tufting, channels, canning and even new castors or feet).
